Nike Adapt BB x Metro Classic

To elevate the release of the Adapt BB, Nike looked to leverage the High School Basketball Season. The Metro Classic, held at Kean University in Union, NJ, is one of the nation’s most competitive high school basketball tournaments, featuring some of the nations best prep stars, drawing thousands of spectators over the course of a weekend.

Nike Basketball East challenged Olé and Game Seven to tap into the event’s energy by creating a curated trialing space where consumers were given an exclusive opportunity to try-on the Adapt BB prior to the national release.

The trialing space was open to the public and 400+ consumers participated in the try-on experience over the course of two days. Each participant was given an Adapt motion-activated wristband and earned an opportunity to reserve a pair for purchase on the day of the national release.
